HMS Caroline has been dry docked in Harland and Wolff’s Belfast Dock for hull inspection, maintenance and preservation.
In October 2016, the vessel was moved for the first time in over 30 years, five months after opening to the public, for a scheduled inspection and further repairs. HMS Caroline was tugged from Alexandra Dock into Belfast Harbour, then into the Harland & Wolff Belfast Repair Dock for six weeks.
